!Letters from NHS England requesting our patients to re-register with another practice!

Some of our patients have received a letter from NHS England (Primary Support England) suggesting their names will be removed from our patient list as their address is outside of our practice boundary (mainly Marchwood patients.) Please be reassured that this request was NOT made by Forestside Medical Practice and that patients are more than welcome to be registered with us at Forestside. We feel this may have been an error on behalf of NHS England which is outside of our control. Please accept our apologies whilst our team are looking into this. Please contact us 02380 844546/871233 if you have received a letter like this so that we can investigate. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Healthy Horizons

Healthy Horizons

healthy horizonsThis popular programme is run in conjunction with the New Forest District Council using the fitness room facilities at either Totton, Gang Warily or Applemore Recreation centres.  Access to the programme is available to those at any age (even 80 plus!) who may benefit.

Patients with a variety of health problems may gain remarkable benefits from this programme.  Many will continue “under their own steam” at the end of the 10 week course.  A number of our patients really have regained their health in this way.  Your GP or sister may suggest this to you, or the suggestions might come from you!

If you agree to take part, you will be given an exercise prescription to attend 20 sessions over 10 weeks.  The sessions are not free but heavily subsidized, in addition, you get the services of a specially trained fitness counsellor to tailor and closely supervise your programme. for you.
